JUST LUKE AT THIS CHART

Less than two days after River House/Columbia Nashville’s Luke Combs was crowned Male Vocalist of the Year at the CMAs—where his “Beautiful Crazy” earned the gong for Song—his new album, What You See Is What You Get, debuts at #1 on our Top 50 Chart, moving 177k. His first album, This One’s for You, rises back into the Top 15 in tandem with the follow-up’s success.

Other key new releases included Lil Mosey’s Certified Hitmaker (Mogul Vision/Interscope), which scores the second-biggest bow with more than 23k at #11, and Dave East’s Survival (Mass Appeal/Def Jam), which appears at #13 with upwards of 22k. And Kemosabe/RCA newcomer Doja Cat rounds out the Top 20 with her Hot Pink; that earns more than 18k.

The most noteworthy move, meanwhile, is made by Alamo/Interscope’s buzzing Rod Wave, whose Ghetto Gospel rockets to #10 in its second week out and tacks on around 25k to its total.

On our Building Album Sales Chart, Pentatonix's The Best of Pentatonix Christmas (RCA) jumped 10 spots and into the Top 5.

When it comes to Top 50 Chart marketshare, UMG is #1 with 53% and SME follows with 33%, while WMG claims 14%.

Streeting this week are projects by Sony Music Canada/Columbia’s Celine Dion, AUTNMY/Columbia’s Lil Peep, BMLGR’s Lady Antebellum and Mad Love/Interscope’s Tory Lanez.

Oh, and Ninja Sex Party dropped Under the Covers, Vol. III—another collection of interpretations of ‘70s and ‘80s hits. Nothing says Christmastime quite like that. Pass the eggnog.
