PANDORA GIVES CREDIT TO MUSICIANS

Pandora is giving the drummer some. The streaming service started to provide full song credits for millions of tracks, which means Hal Blaine is now listed on more 6,000 songs.

Full song credits are accessible to users across all tiers of service. A See All Song Credits button takes a listener to the information that used to be found on the back of an album cover or on the inner-sleeve. (They also appeared on CDs in 4 point type, which is why most of the older HITS staff can’t see straight.)

They’re touting the new service with an exclusive Pandora story about Blaine. Pandora has also created a Credit Where It’s Due playlist.
