HAPPINESS IS ... A PLATINUM RECORD

The Jonas Brothers received platinum plaques for their Republic Records debut Happiness Begins at a benefit event at the Grammy Museum Monday.

While debating whether they could still get tickets to the Lakers-Warriors preseason game, the brothers hoisted the artwork with, from left, Republic’s Marisa Bianco and Gary Spangler, Philymack’s John Taylor, Republic President Wendy Goldstein, and Philymack’s Phil McIntyre, Alexis Rasten and Greg Garbowsky.

Nick, Joe and Kevin spent the night at the Museum, performing and answering questions posed by Scott Goldman at a benefit for the Museum’s music education initiatives. After schmoozing with Grammy Museum President Michael Sticka, the siblings sprinted to their jet, narrowly eluding a throng of screaming trade journalists.

And if that was not enough wild Jonas action to get your motors running, today 10/8 the Brothers took over The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a performance of their latest single “Only Human.” Additionally, Nick Jonas announced that he will join the cast of NBC’s The Voice as a coach on forthcoming Season 18.
