MOTTOLA OBTAINS ANOTHER STAR

Longtime mega-macher Tommy Mottola will receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame during a ceremony next to the W Hotel on 10/10 at 11:30am.

The former Sony Music Chairman/CEO's star will be near that of his wife, artist Thalia, at the corner of Hollywood and Fuhgeddaboudit. Er, Vine. Hollywood Chamber of Commerce boss Rana Ghadban (as emcee) and producer David Foster (as guest speaker) will be on hand for the unveiling. The event will be live-streamed here.

Mottola is "one of the most prolific music industry executives of our modern age," proclaimed Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez, who then texted him a link to her demo.
