KAPP TO BRIDGE TWO LIVE NATION UNITS

Kelly Kapp, a concert promoter with Live Nation for 17 years, has been promoted to Vice President Touring/ Executive Vice President HOBE Talent. She is the first executive to have a dual role across Live Nation U.S. Concerts and its Clubs and Theaters division.

The former SVP of HOBE Talent will report to Bob Roux and Ron Bension.

In her new role, Kapp will continue to cultivate relationships with bands at the club and theater level, and will able to stay with them throughout their career, regardless of venue size.

“Kelly has been a key contributor and leader in the Live Nation touring division for many years, and we are thrilled with what we know she will accomplish with her new role,” said Roux, President, U.S. Concerts.

Kapp started with Live Nation as a Project Manager for North American Concerts, working on tours such as Ozzfest, Van Halen and Destiny Child’s farewell tour.

When Live Nation acquired House of Blues in 2006, Kapp became its inaugural tour buyer. Since 2009, Kapp has booked more than 4,850 shows and has enough laminates to wallpaper a condo.
