LITTLE PINK PHOTO OPS FOR YOU AND ME

At the 20th Annual WhyHunger Chapin Awards in NYC, iconic rock troubadour and longtime activist John Mellencamp received the ASCAP Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award for his tireless efforts to fight hunger and poverty. Following a speech by ASCAP Prez Paul Williams, Mellencamp was presented with the prize by Republic boss Monte Lipman and performed some classic hits; some folks then lined up for a photo and silently gave themselves "Cougar" as a middle name. Seen trying not to think about the sumptuous nearby buffet table are (l-r) Lipman, ASCAP's Seth Saltzman and Loretta Muñoz, WhyHunger's Noreen Springstead, Mellencamp, and ASCAP's Williams, Beth Matthews and John Titta.
