ONTO #1

Ava Max has notched up 7.6m plays this week to remain at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart with “Sweet But Psycho” (Atlantic). Over on albums, The Greatest Showman soundtrack now has 26 non-consecutive weeks at the top.

“Sweet But Psycho” finished 27k combined sales ahead of Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” (Island) at #2. Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus are #3 with “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” (Columbia), as Post Malone hits a new high with “Wow.” (Island) at #4, followed by “Sunflower” f/Swae Lee at #5. Headie One lands his first ever Top 10 single with “18HUNNA” f/Dave (Relentless) this week’s highest new entry at #6.

James Arthur and Anne Marie’s “Rewrite the Stars” (Atlantic) lifts to a new peak of #7; George Ezra’s “Hold My Girl” (Columbia) climbs six slots to #8, now his fifth Top 10 hit; and Freya Ridings’ “Lost Without You” (Good Soldier) returns to its peak position of #9.

On the Official Albums Chart, Ezra’s Staying at Tamara’s (Columbia) is behind The Greatest Showman at #2 as A Star is Born (Polydor) lifts one place to #3, followed by the soundtrack for fellow Golden Globes winner, Bohemian Rhapsody (Virgin), at #4. Fleetwood Mac retrospective 50 yYears–Don’t Stop (Rhino) has moved up three places to #5.

Clean Bandit also scale new heights with What is Love? (Atlantic) climbing six to #9, Dua Lipa's self-titled debut climbs eight rungs to #12 and Drake's Scorpion (Island) rises seven to #19. Finally, Billie Eilish’s debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (Polydor), hits a new peak by soaring 12 places to #20.
