COLUMBIA'S ROAD WARRIORS

Jennifer Citron and Mary Madden have been promoted to Vice President, Touring and Events for Columbia Records, reporting to Ryan Ruden, Senior Vice President, Experiential Marketing and Business Development.

Citron, who joined Columbia Records in 2007 as Manager of Tour Marketing and Artist Development, has been Senior Director of Touring and Events for the label since 2015. Madden was upped to Director of Touring and Events in 2016 from Associate Director of Touring and Events in 2013. She has been in the department since 2008.

“Jennifer and Mary have proven to be innovative leaders in the tour marketing and live event sectors,” Ryan said. “I am excited for them to co-lead new initiatives and strategy around live that drive fan engagement and bring value to our artists.”

Citron said she looks forward “to cultivating event-based marketing efforts while continuing our focus on touring and artist development strategies that deliver success stories for our artists.”

Madden noted, “I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the most inspiring artists at Columbia Records and I look forward to continuing to serve them in the live and event marketing arenas.”

The promotions package included Springsteen all-access laminates, keys to a 1992 Econoline van and a new roadie-curated wardrobe of worn Levis and black T-shirts.
