SONY MUSIC U.K. HQ EVACUATED 

Sony Music’s London office was evacuated this morning after a fight between two members of catering staff resulted in a stabbing incident. We understand that the rest of the staff are safe, and the incident is now in the hands of the Metropolitan Police.

One man has been arrested, according to Variety.

A spokesperson from the Met told The Independent that two men are being treated for non-life threatening injuries and have both been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Multiple reports say the fight broke out between kitchen workers in the staff canteen and quickly got out of hand. Police evacuated staff at the Kensington office as a precaution, and the incident isn’t being treated as terror-related.

A spokesperson from Sony confirmed: “Sony Music confirmed there was an incident at Derry Street resulting in the building being evacuated. Two members of the catering team were involved in a violent altercation. The incident is now in the hands of the Metropolitan Police.”
