Nas' first album in six years, Nasir (Mass Appeal/Def Jam), is in the pole position on both services, and two of its tracks, "Not for Radio" f/Puff Daddy and "Cops Shot the Kid," are #10 and #11 at Apple Music.
The deluxe edition of 5 Seconds of Summer’s Youngblood (Capitol) is #2. 5SOS will be promoting their third album with a performance 6/22 on NBC’s Today.
Christina Aguilera’s first album in six years, Liberation (RCA) pops in at #3 followed by a four-song EP from K-pop act Blackpink, Square up (YG), at #4.
At #5 is the solo debut of Linkin Park’s Mike Sinoda, Post Traumatic (Warner Bros.), which explores the loss and helplessness he felt after the suicide of his bandmate Chester Bennington.
Top Dawg’s first breakout star, Jay Rock, returns with Redemption (TDE/Interscope). It’s #7 at iTunes and #4 at Apple Music. The seventh album from California reggae band Rebelation, Free Rein (87 Music/Easy Star) is #8.
The other Top 10 entry at Apple Music is Jacquees' 4275 (YMCMB) at #8.
With only three tracks available, Minaj’s Queen is currently enthroned at #16 at Apple Music. Besides being #3 at iTunes, “Bed” f/Ariana Grande is in the Top 40 at Apple Music and her track with Lil Wayne, “Rich Sex,” is #37 at iTunes.
