ISLAND U.K. IN BLOOM

Inside sources expect UMG U.K. ruler David Joseph will tap A&R head Louis Bloom to succeed Darcus Beese as President of Island U.K. Bloom, who began his tenure at the London-based label in the early aughts, has been integral to the signing and development of such acts as Mumford & Sons, Keane, Catfish & the Bottlemen, Mika and Sigrid, among others.

Rumors that Bloom has already been anointed with Chris Blackwell's bong have yet to be confirmed.
