This week’s aggregation of trending topics across our nutty business includes a trio of iconic nameplates: Spotify’s frowning three-mouthed green android, BET’s shining star and RCA’s retro-futuristic block letters—though mention of the venerable label will always evoke the image of Nipper grooving to the sounds coming out of his master's gramophone.

In other HITS List entries, faces will suffice, in that they immediately evoke their company’s logos; they include Apple’s Tim Cook, Vivendi’s Vincent Belloré, Interscope’s Joie Manda and Selena Gomez, YouTube’s beloved cartoon character and 12 Tone’s Steve Bartels…although that logo is still TBA.
