SOLO SET FROM LINKIN PARK'S SHINODA

Linkin Park’s co-lead singer Mike Shinoda will release a full-length solo album, Post Traumatic (Warner Bros.), on 6/15. He released two new tracks from the album today.

Shinoda will also perform a handful of solo shows this summer, including Identity LA in Los Angeles on 5/12, Reading and Leeds Festivals in the U.K. and the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan in August. Additional dates will be announced later.

Shinoda has been working in his Los Angeles home studio since the death of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, writing, recording, and painting. In January, he released a three-song EP then continued work on music that has become Post Traumatic.

“It’s a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness,” Shinoda says. “If people have been through something similar, I hope they feel less alone. If they haven’t been through this, I hope they feel grateful.”
