THE LATEST ON
HILARY ROSEN

We caught up with multitasker Hilary Rosen after she let us know on Wednesday that, among her myriad activities, she’s been advising the currently high-profile Tristan Coopersmith.

The former RIAA chief, who is seen weighing in on the issues of the day on CNN, MSNBC and CNBC, is a partner in SKDKnickerbocker, which describes itself as “a progressive public affairs and political consulting firm that specializes in working for Democratic Party politicians.”

Not surprisingly, Rosen is also affiliated with the #Time’sUp movement. When we asked her about the specifics of her involvement, here’s what she told us:

“I helped Tina Tchen, Robbie Kaplan and Fatima Goss Graves, super-lawyers all, start the legal defense fund once the amazing women in Hollywood said they wanted to do something to help all women across the country,” Rosen tells us. “This wouldn't have happened without Katie Rogers, Rebecca Goldman, Shonda Rhimes, Reese Witherspoon, Michelle Lee and so many others. We designed this so they would receive both legal and PR advice.”
