REPUBLIC RESETS ROCK PROMOTIONS

Gary Spangler hasbulked up the Rock promotion department at Republic Records, promoting Amanda Dobbins and bringing on Drew Hauser.

Dobbins, a VP of Rock Promotion since she arrived from Sony in 2014, has been upped to Senior Vice President of Rock Promotion. She has been at the core of campaigns for James Bay, Florence + The Machine, Of Monsters and Men and others.

Hauser is Vice President of Rock Promotion. He ran the Epic Records Alternative and Rock Promotion Department from 2015 to 2017, and previously headed Radio Promotion at Wind Up Records.

The two will spearhead promotion campaigns at Alternative, Rock and AAA for Republic and its strategic partners.

“Amanda is the foremost respected rock executive in music and has earned this leadership roll,” says Spangler, EVP, Promotion. “Since Drew joined Republic as a consultant this summer we instantly knew he belonged on the team.

"They have seamlessly elevated the department already delivering three #1’s with The Killers, Jack Johnson and rock breakout Greta Van Fleet.”
