The Epic-helmed soundtrack to Sony Pictures' not-yet-released The Star is coming in advance of the faith-based family film—in theaters 11/17—on 10/27.

The Star: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack includes new music from the likes of Mariah Carey, who performs the theme song, A Great Big World and Fifth Harmony, as well as covers from Pentatonix, Jake Owen, Zara Larsson and more. Ron Fair is the soundtrack producer.

“The filmmakers of The Star have delivered a funny but faithful turn on the nativity story, and Mariah Carey’s soulful performance of the film’s theme song adds a layer of depth and emotion that will have audiences feeling the spirit," says Sony Pictures Head of Music Spring Aspers. "This compilation is full of covers of Christmas classics old and new that not only perfectly fit the film, but make the perfect soundtrack for the season.”
