FANS KEEP PETTY AT #1 ON iTUNES

Tom Petty fans continue to turn to iTunes to celebrate his life’s work as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Greatest Hits (Geffen) continues to hold onto the #1 slot a week after his death.

The Heartbreakers’ Anthology (UMe) is #9 while Petty’s second solo album, Wildflowers (Warner Bros.) is #10. His first solo record, Full Moon Fever (Geffen), holds on at #22.

Reprise’s The Live Anthology is #34 while the deluxe edition of his breakthrough album, Damn the Torpedoes (Geffen), is #38.

“I Won’t Back Down,” which Jason Aldean performed on SNL this weekend, is the top-selling Petty song at #6. “Free Fallin’,” “You Don’t Know How It Feels,” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and “American Girl” are in the Top 60.
