SAM SMITH REVEALS THE THRILL OF IT ALL
Three years after his debut album manifested a Grammy-winning superstar, Sam Smith has revealed that his sophomore album, The Thrill Of It All, will be released worldwide on 11/3 via Capitol Records.
The pre-order is underway now and fans who buy the album early will receive a brand new song called "Pray" (a collaboration with producer Timbaland) plus the first single, "Too Good at Goodbyes." The "special edition" features 14 songs and the standard edition has 10, with one notable feature from a breaking new artist named YEBBA.
Smith has simultaneously announced the North American dates for The Thrill Of It All tour, which kicks off on 6/18 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto with stops at arenas like Barclays Center in Brooklyn (6/27), NYC's Madison Square Garden (6/29) and STAPLES in L.A. (8/28-8/29). The ticket pre-sale begins 10/11, with all purchases bundled with a copy of the album.
In addition, Sam will also be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, 10/7.
"Too Good At Goodbyes" is a phenomenal lead-in to the new record, with the song's Spotify streams already exceeding 100 million worldwide, while views of the official video are nearing 60 million. The song is Top 15 on the T40 Mediabase airplay chart.
