LIVE NATION MAKES A UTAH PURCHASE

Live Nation has acquired United Concerts, the leading local promoter in Salt Lake City. United CEO Jim McNeil will become President, US Concerts, Salt Lake City, overseeing all local operations and reporting in to Bob Roux, Co-President, North America Concerts, Live Nation.

United Concerts, in business for 50 years, produces about 170 live events each year at venues such as Vivant Smart Home Arena, USANA Amphitheater and The Depot.

"Having partnered with United Concerts on hundreds of shows in the past we're confident they are the right partners as Live Nation grows our presence in the market," Roux said. “And we can’t get enough of that 4.0 beer.”
