PETTY FANS SHOW THEIR LOVE ONLINE

Three days after his passing, Tom Petty's music continues to dominate the iTunes charts. On Thursday morning, five Petty albums are in the Top 10, led by the 18-track Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Greatest Hits at #1. (It's in the Top 15 at Apple Music). The 34-track Anthology: Through the Years occupies the #2 spot, while Wildflowers sits at #3 and Full Moon Fever is #7, while the deluxe edition of Damn the Torpedoes occupies the #9 slot.

Live Anthology is #12 and Into the Great Wide Open is #18. Top 30 entries are standard issue of Damn the Torpedoes (#22), Southern Acccents (#22), The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 (#16), Hard Promises (#24), The Traveling Wilburys Collection (Remastered) (#28) and and The Heartbreakers' debut album (#30).

There are 27 Petty, Heartbreakers and Wilburys tracks in the Top 200 songs chart. “Free Fallin’” is now #4 after hitting #1 earlier in the week, with "I Won't Back Down" at #12,"Mary Jane's Last Dance" at #16,"You Don't Know How It Feels" at #20, "American Girl" at #21, "Wildflowers" at #27 and "Learning to Fly" at #29. Apple Music has also compiled an "Essentials" playlist.
