VEVO RAMPS UP CONTENT TEAM

Vevo’s VP of Original Content, Joseph Patel, has ramped up his staff, hiring seven people to work on creating original music-related programming.

Patel has brought in as Senior Creative Producers, Noisey and Vice’s Kim Taylor Bennett and The FADER Editor Anupa Mistry.

Priya Minhas, a Creative Producer at Buzzfeed, is now Original and Branded Content Producer; NPR’s Cameron Robert is Video Producer; and Revolt’s Lika Kumoi joins as Senior Video Editor. Also, Jayson Rodriguez has been named Creative Producer and Kevin Rose is a Video Editor.

“It speaks to our commitment to delivering high-quality programming around music video and music culture, from a diverse array of voices,” Patel said.

The team is working on documentaries, scripted shorts, music videos, festival coverage and other projects.
