KENDRICK LAMAR'S ALBUM DROPPING THIS FRIDAY (UPDATE)

Kendrick Lamar has revealed the cover art, tracklist and title of his new album, DAMN., which streets this Friday (4/14) via TDE/Aftermath/Interscope.

We're currently projecting a first-week number of 450-500k SPS. Kendrick also looks set to be the first artist other than Drake to earn 200k+ streams in one week from a single album.

On Tuesday (4/11) Kendrick revealed the cover art, tracklist and album title, DAMN. Two notable features are Rihanna on a song called "Loyalty," plus KDot looped rock legends U2 on a track called "XXX."

This is the official follow-up to 2015's critically acclaimed and Grammy-winning work To Pimp A Butterfly, and that Lamar has built considerable momentum from the video and single for "HUMBLE," coming off the biggest first-week total for a Kendrick song ever by crossing 100,000 sales and 20m streams in just five days.

TPAB moved 363k SPS in its first week, with 324k of that being album sales. It is now approaching platinum.
