JUAN GABRIEL TO PERFORM AT HIS OWN TRIBUTE

Thanks to hologram technology, Juan Gabriel will make an appearance at his own tribute concert. The event, called Juan Gabriel, Eternally, will be held 2/18 at the Foro Pegaso, in Toluca, Mexico. The celebration of the Latin superstar’s life and work will include performances by Andrea Bocelli, John Fogerty, Jesse & Joy and many others.

Gabriel, who died last August of a heart attack at the age of 68, will perform a three-song set courtesy of Hologram USA, which has also presented holograms of other late artists, including Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson.

“Juan Gabriel, means so much to his fans,” said Alki David, CEO of FOTV Media Group, which is putting on the event. “To be able to pay homage to him despite losing him so tragically, is one of the great gifts of Hologram USA’s technology. We’re grateful to be working with his family, his son Ivan Aguilera and producer Gustavo Farias to make this event spectacular.”

Rumors that a hologram of Vladimir Putin is leading all policy meetings in the White House couldn't be confirmed at presstime.
