SPOTIFY NAMES BERTOZZI VP EUROPE

Sales man Marco Bertozzi has been tapped by Spotify as VP Europe/Head of Sales. He’ll be based in London from January, overseeing the streaming service's Direct, Programmatic and International business across the region.

Bertozzi leaves performance marketing agency Performics where he was Global Chief Revenue Officer. He also has history at media agency Starcom and ad agency TMP Worldwide.

Brian Benedik, Spotify’s Global Head of Ad Sales, commented: “We are very excited to be welcoming Marco into the Spotify family in the new year. Marco has a great wealth of expertise and insights gained over many years in the agency world, and we’re looking forward to him bringing his fresh perspective to the European business.”

Bertozzi added: “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for me to join a company that is working at the intersection of data, tech and incredible content. Spotify is a leader in its space and I am looking forward to joining in the New Year.”
