U.K. MIDWEEK CHARTS: ROBBIE'S
A HEAVY FAVORITE

Robbie Williams is headed toward what will be his 12th Official Albums #1 on Friday as The Heavy Entertainment Show (Columbia) takes the lead ahead of two distinguished British stars, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.

The Heavy Entertainment Show is the first album to be released under Williams’ new distribution deal with Jason Iley’s Sony Music U.K. After today’s announcement of his summer 2017 stadium tour, which ends before Glastonbury begins, rumours started circulating that he’ll appear at the legendary British festival.

At #2 midway stage is a collaboration between musical theater stars Ball and Boe, Together (Decca). Bon Jovi’s This House Is Not For Sale (Virgin EMI) looks set to enter at #3, as Michael Buble’s Nobody But Me (Warner) drops to #4 and Elvis Presley’s The Wonder of You (Sony Music CG) does so to #5.

Over on the Official Singles race, Atlantic act Clean Bandit f/Annie Marie and Sean Paul’s “Rockabye” has risen to #1 during the track's third week on sale.

The rest of the Top 5 is fairly familiar with last week’s #1, “Shout Out To My Ex” (SYCO), by Little Mix at #2 and “Say You Won’t Let Go” (SYCO) by James Arthur at #3.

Bruno Mars is also rising with “24K Magic” (Atlantic) up two places to #4 while The Weeknd f/Daft Punk’s “Starboy” (Island) closes the Top 5.
