A DIFFERENT KIND OF LP GROWTH

No, this isn't a story about the increased popularity of vinyl albums in the last fiscal quarter. The LP referred to in our headline is the singer/songwriter LP, whose single "Lost on You" and Death Valley EP (BMG) are certainly in a groove of their own. "Lost" is being found by audiences worldwide, shooting to #4 on Shazam's global chart, hitting #1 on iTunes in 17 European territories (and still on top in several and Top 5 in plenty more), scoring 7.3 million Spotify plays and 30m+ YouTube views. The EP is #1 in France. All that's before radio, which is being prepped now.

And while it's less quantifiable, she's also pretty freakin' cool, as you'll observe when you check out the clip below.

LP will issue her full-length on BMG early next year. BMG's Jon Cohen will be rocking it on vinyl.
