APPLE MUSIC ANNOUNCES
17 MILLION SUBS

Amid the sound and fury over the iPhone 7 announcement from Apple today comes word (straight from CEO Tim Cook) that Apple Music now has 17 million subscribers. In June, the company trumpeted the 15m milestone. Spotify has 30m; the streaming market is still clearly gathering momentum.

Oh, and the iPhone 7 is water-resistant and has faster charging, longer battery life, new wireless "AirPods" for your ears (no headphone jack, sucker; Beats just happens to be rolling out new wireless headphones) and stereo speakers. And it'll, uh, walk your fuckin' dog. You happy now?
