U.K. SIGNINGS: LUCIE SILVAS, KIDEKO, JOE GARRETT

British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas, a Nashville resident, has signed a label deal with UMG U.K. imprint Decca, helmed by Rebecca Allen, for the major release of her third album, Letters to Ghosts, out on 9/2.

Elsewhere, Mike Smith's Warner/Chappell in Blighty has added a couple of intriguing names to its roster. Brighton DJ/producer Kideko has joined the major publisher, as has up-and-coming rock band Dead Pretties.

Over in the independent sector, the guy who helped write ZAYN’s “Pillowtalk”, Joe Garrett, has signed to BMG. London duo Tender have joined the roster of indie label Partisan Records and electronic French artist SaraSara has signed to One Little Indian, according to Record of the Day. Elsewhere, Kobalt Label Services has signed producer/singer/guitarist Tom Misch.
