iHEARTRADIO HITS 90M USERS

In the last seven months, iHeartRadio has added another 10m users, taking the streaming service to 90m registered listeners.

How fast is that, you ask? Well, iHeartMedia reports that’s a sign-up rate faster than Facebook or any other streaming music service. The numbers do not include listeners who tune in to iHeartRadio’s live radio stations.

“We know our users want to listen to our broad range of content on the device of their choice—and we also know they want to enjoy amazing stories that have emerged from the recent podcast boom or hear their hometown DJ wherever they travel,” said Darren Davis, President of iHeartRadio. “For those reasons and more, people continue to embrace iHeartRadio, and it’s reflected in the continued rapid growth of our registered user base.”

iHeartMedia has also announced a programmatic private marketplace for digital radio that allows select programmatic buyers to access iHeartMedia’s premium radio inventory across its digital properties on iHeartRadio, as well as on Bob Pittman's jet.
