CHESNEY'S "FIRE" SPREADS

With 93k sold in its first week, Kenny Chesney's "Setting the World on Fire" f/P!nk (Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville) is his biggest track debut, and the second-biggest country single of the year (after Florida Georgia Line's "H.O.L.Y."). The song, after debuting at #32 at Country radio, has already entered the Top 30. Noters are also noting big Hot AC play at WBMX Boston and KLLC San Francisco, as tastemaker programmers discover and play the song on their own. Manager Clint Higham and Sony Nashville's Randy Goodman, both coming off a#1 country album for Jake Owen, are pounding Fireball shots in celebration.
