CHART STORY: CALIFORNIA ROLL

Blink-182 have unseated reigning champ Drake for #1 on today’s Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart. After a remarkable run in which YMCMB/Republic's Dreezy held on to the top spot for nine consecutive weeks, BMG’s alt-rock veterans assume the lead with 185k total, of which 171k is pure album sales (outpacing their last release by 20k). Drake takes #2 with 117k (with 60k+ of that in SEA).

Columbia has two titles in the Top 5: the week's other top debut, from neo-soul star Maxwell, who lands at #3 with 61k+, and, at #4, the ever-refreshing Lemonade by Beyoncé, which notches another 39k+. Fueled by Ramen’s Twenty One Pilots rounds out the Top 5 with just over 36k.

Just a hair behind, Westbury Road/Roc Nation’s Rihanna takes the #6 position. Another Columbia title you may have heard about—a little thing called 25, by XL/Columbia’s Adele—comes in at #7. Uptown’s Hamilton, Warner Bros. Nashville’s Blake Shelton and Epic’s Meghan Trainor complete the Top 10. The only other debut of chart significance this week, from Def Jam’s Logic, lands at #13 with about 20k—entirely with streaming and track sales. The album itself is streaming-only.

Apart from Shelton, who spiked 45% thanks in large part to an iTunes sale, the chart’s biggest gainer is Columbia Nashville’s Maren Morris, who rides a CBS Sunday Morning segment to a 32% bump.

In terms of pure album sales, apart from Blink’s impressive volume, it’s worth noting that Maxwell lands at #2, ahead of Drake, with more than 58k, and Shelton makes it into the Top 5.

Streeting today are TDE/Interscope's ScHoolboy Q, Warner Bros.' Biffy Clyro and Epic's Chevelle, among others.

In Hollywood Boulevard news, Minnie Mouse and Wonder Woman look like they're about to get into it.
