ADIDAS GOES WEST

adidas and Kanye West have cemented their business relationship, forming ong-term plans with the launch of adidas + KANYE WEST, a YEEZY-branded entity of footwear apparel and accessories. West's Def Jam team is calling this "the most significant partnership ever created between an athletic brand and a non-athlete."

"Kanye is a true creator who has the ability to see things others don't. We are excited and honored to build on this partnership, and eagerly look forward to defining the future together," said adidas CMO Eric Liedtke (pictured left with West). "With adidas + KANYE WEST we are exploring new territories by opening up the sports world to Kanye's creativity. This is what adidas has always been about, empowering creators to create the new."

The photo of Liedtke and West seen here was snapped in timely fashion at Milk Studios in L.A., just before Ted Cruz appeared totally naked to ask why he wasn't considered in the casting for West's last music video.
