PANDORA CEO OUTLINES GROWTH PLAN

Pandora co-founder and CEO Tim Westergren says that in the next year or two the online radio service aims to “a hub that satisfies” all music experiences for fans.

Speaking in Cannes, France, on CNBC’s Squawk Alley, Westergren said Pandora is angling to be a “one stop shop” for music: A radio experience; a home for playlists and discovery of new music; a live performance platform; and a place to buy concert tickets.

"It's going to be a very intuitive, personalized experience that takes advantage of all we know about you as a listener to make a more interactive, easy-to-use and intuitive as the radio product," Westergren said.

He is in Cannes for the Cannes Lions advertising conference where the company is meeting with advertisers and brands to explain its data mining operations, ability to target ads and improved visual ad experience on cellphones.
