THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM: PART 9,561

The cover of our most recent print edition commemorates of the buzziest performances on Music’s Biggest Night: the duet of Republic troubadour James Bay and Capitol’s Tori Kelly, which sparked big sales and was the most Shazamed Grammy moment. But if they had a chance to rethink appearing on the cover of our misbegotten mag, these two rising stars probably wouldn’t duet.

Our Contents VIP is Epic chieftain L.A. Reid, who came into Grammy week with a #1 album (by Future) and came out with a Best New Artist trophy for breakout diva Meghan Trainor. Now Trainor is positioned for another huge single, and Reid has new Fifth Harmony on deck as well. The veteran record man has also made headlines with a splashy memoir, Sing to Me. But the last ink he ever wanted was a Contents shout-out in our unreadable rag.
