CLIVE'S ROYAL COURT

Our moles dumpster-diving at the Beverly Hilton have uncovered a fragment of a list of expected attendees for Clive Davis’ and the Recording Academy’s pre-Grammy party. It’s jaw-droppingly heavy, and naturally loaded with top label and publishing execs and both established and upcoming stars. But it’s also unique in bringing together industry royalty—legendary players, artists, songwriters, actors and others who’ve been part of Clive’s orbit for decades.

Among these are Berry Gordy, Mo Ostin, Lou Adler, Shep Gordon, Joe Smith, Seymour Stein, Quincy Jones, Ringo Starr, Dionne Warwick, Jimmy Jam, Liza Minelli, Barry Manilow, Neil Sedaka, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, Suzanne Somers, Mavis Staples and Mike Stoller, among many others.

We assume our invitation was lost in the mail.
