Original Songs From Empire's New Season Drop

Are you ready for Empire's upcoming second season? Well, now you can get in the mood with two new original songs, released today by Columbia Records and Fox.

The first track, "No Doubt About It" (below), is an exuberant party-starter, performed by Jussie Smollett (Jamal Lyon) and RCA's Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull. The latter shares songwriting credits with Ne-Yo.


The second, "Ain't About the Money," combines the talents of on-screen brothers Smollett and Yazz (Hakeem Lyon). Listen here.

The show's season premiere is set for 9/23, and Empire: Original Soundtrack from Season 2, Volume 1 will be released later this year.

As great as new music is, we're more excited than one would expect, because the news also signifies one very important thing: The return of Cookie.
