SHOWTIME FOR PATTI

Showtime has nabbed the rights to Patti Smith's vivid and poignant memoir, Just Kids, and is planning a limited series to be co-written and produced by Penny Dreadful creator John Logan and Smith. The project, which the pair have been working on since 2011, will be produced by Logan's Desert Wolf Productions. We can't wait to see how the writers and filmmakers portray the NYC of 40 years ago and the colorful characters who inhabited it.
