iHEART MUSIC FEST: VEGAS, BABY!

Kanye West, Sam Smith, The Who, Kenny Chesney, The Weeknd and Coldplay are among the artists slated for the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas on 9/18-19.

The two-day fest at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, hosted once again by Ryan Seacrest, will also boast performances by Demi Lovato, Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy, David Guetta, Nick Jonas, Hozier, Tove Lo, Diplo, The Killers, Duran Duran, Blake Shelton, Janet Jackson and many others, as well as various “surprise guests” and one-of-a-kind collaborations.

The Daytime Village venue (on 9/19 only) at the MGM Resorts Village will host Lovato, Hozier, Jonas, Big Sean, Walk the Moon, Tori Kelly, James Bay, Shawn Mendes, George Ezra, The Struts, Zella Day and Echosmith, among others.

General ticket sales begin on 8/1 at 1pm ET via iHeartRadio.com/buytickets; a sweeps will offer trips and tickets to lucky iHeart listeners.

"What makes this show unlike all others is that every artist is a massive star and could easily headline the MGM Arena on their own,” said programming chieftain Tom Poleman.” With unbelievable live performances and collaborations, every year the iHeartRadio Music Festival and Daytime Village are the ultimate celebrations of artists and music."

The event will be broadcast live on iHeart stations, as a live stream on Yahoo Screen, air as a two-night special on The CW on 9/29-30 and be piped into Bob Pittman’s jet.

"If you are a music fan, you will be able to find this year's festival everywhere you turn: on the radio, online and on television,” said iHeart prexy John Sykes. “By making it available to so many people, we generate billions of social media impressions throughout the weekend."

Meanwhile, the iHateEverything Festival slated for Trump Casino is on hold due to a labor dispute with the largely immigrant workforce and uncertainty regarding the public-breastfeeding policy.
