U2 TOUR MANAGER DENNIS SHEEHAN PASSES AWAY

Dennis Sheehan, U2's longtime tour manager, died this morning in L.A., just hours after the band played the first of five shows at the Forum. TMZ reports that Sheehan was found unconscious in his room at the Sunset Marquis. Paramedics were called to Sheehan's hotel room around 5:30am for a reported cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Sheehan, who was in his late 60s, had served as U2's tour manager for more than 30 years. He held the same job with Led Zeppelin, Iggy Pop, Patti Smith and Lou Reed.
