LIVE NATION AWARDS SHOW COMES ALIVE

Live Performance of the Year, Collabo, Road Warrior Among Categories

In collaboration with IMG, dick clark productions and Turner Broadcasting, Live Nation will produce the inaugural Live Nation Music Awards, it was announced today. The event, which honors the best in live musical performances, is set to air on TNT and TBS on 10/1.

Live Performance of the Year, Best On-Stage Collaboration, Road Warrior of the Year and Best Special Effects in a Festival are among the unique award categories to be included.

The show's executive producers include Live Nation president/CEO Michael Rapino, IMG Chief Content Officer Mark Shapiro, dick clark productions CEO Allen Shapiro (So You Think You Can Dance, Golden Globe Awards) and dick clark productions prexy Michael Mahan.

"Live Nation is dedicated to bringing artists and fans together for life-long memories and we are honored to take part in recognizing the talent who bring those experiences to life," said Rapino.
