THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM: DOUBLE ISSUE EDITION

Our Cover and Contents Captains of Industry

The cover of our latest print edition is graced by RCA rulers Peter Edge and Tom Corson, who for some reason agreed to a lengthy conversation with us (stay tuned for the online version). The pair are on a serious hot streak, as their A&R-focused approach has led to the breaking of multiple new acts—making them a fine choice for the cover of our newest New & Developing Artists issue. Even so, we suspect the only use they'll have for the mag is to roll up and use on Nipper.

Our Contents page VIP, meanwhile, is Glassnote chief Daniel Glass, who adds another win to his trophy case as his Mumford & Sons about to notch another chart-topping album bow. Consistently among the most successful music entrepreneurs, he moved his independent label under the UMG umbrella last year; among his new and developing projects are the acclaimed Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear (who'll be rocking the Music Biz 2015 kickoff mere hours from now) and Robert DeLong. Still, this HITS Contents shout-out will likely make the marathon runner sprint in the other direction.
