UPDATE: MADISEN WARD AND THE MAMA BEAR
Mother-and-Son Duo Killed It on Letterman
Glassnote's mother-and-son duo of Ruth and Madisen Ward—otherwise known as Madisen Ward the Mama Bear—debuted their unique brand of acoustic back-porch blues to a national television audience last night with an appearence on The Late Show with David Letterman, seen above.
The two were discovered playing together in their hometown of Kansas City, building an under-the-radar following over the past few years before being signed to a worldwide deal by Glassnote at the end of last year. Their debut album is due this year.
