Katy Perry's Halftime Show Is the Most Watched Musical TV Performance Ever.

Capitol's Katy Perry, who's already gotten "XLIX" tattooed in honor of this past Sunday, has broken records, having the most watched and highest rated half-time show featuring entertainment ever. That dates back to 1991, FYI.

The performance, broadcast on NBC, snagged 118.5m viewers and earned a ridiculous 48.2/72 household rating.

That gives her the title of most-watched musical TV performance ever. Ever ever? Ever ever.

Overall, Super Bowl XLIX was the most watched TV program in national history, the highest-rated Super Bowl in 30 Seasons and the most tweeted about.

Perry raked in 3m+ tweets during halftime; that's 300k tweets per minute.

Meanwhile, "Firework" was the top Shazamed moment of the entire game.
