Faces Reunion

FACES BOOKED: Legendary U.K. band The Faces announced a reunion on their website yesterday, but it will include Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall as lead singer for Rod Stewart. Original members Ronnie Wood, drummer Kenney Jones and keyboardist Ian McLagan will team with Hucknall, a lineup that debuted last October at London’s Royal Albert Hall with bassist Bill Wyman sitting in for the late Ronnie Lane. The quartet will be joined this time by former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock at this year’s Vintage at Goodwood festival in England on Aug. 13. "It's exciting to be on this path again and I hope that the Faces fans are excited as we are," Wood said in a statement. "I'm just really looking forward to seeing them this summer—bring it on!"
