American Idol on MySpace
IDOL COMES TO MYSPACE: Now, if you want to be on American Idol, an audition is as close as your laptop. MySpace and the popular Fox TV show are hooking up to offer hopefuls a chance to be on the show here. Earlier this year, MySpace teamed with the network to exclusively launch the Glee nationwide online casting search, with more than 34k auditions uploaded, over 105 million gold stars handed out, generating more than 23 million video views and over 1.3 million friends. MySpace is also the official audition platform for 19 Entertainment’s ongoing interactive reality show, If I Can Dream which debuted in March. How about a competition to become N.Y.
