Keith to join Ronnie for Faces reunion

A NOD’S AS GOOD AS A WINK: U.K. paper Express reports Keith Richards will be joining the Faces on their reunion show in Sussex this summer—and possibly for the reformed band’s full-on tour next year. Keith, 66, is said to be getting impatient with waiting for Sir Mick Jagger to reconvene the Rolling Stones and is ready to pursue other musical interests in the meantime, including joining his 62-year-old Stones colleague Ron Wood, on stage. “Ronnie and Keith have talked about Keith coming on board for a guest appearance with the Faces,” a pal of Richards told the Express. “At the end of the day, Keith just wants to play, and he enjoys playing with Ronnie more than most people.” Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall (!) will initially take on vocal duties because original frontman Rod Stewart is “unavailable.” Bad sport, Rod.
