Idol Gossip

IDOL GOSSIP: Turns out Ellen DeGeneres is not the only judge leaving American Idol. This morning came news that Kara DioGuardi’s contract won’t be renewed, either. With Jennifer Lopez now apparently in, word is that Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler will fill the DioGuardi slot. With producer Nigel Lythgoe returning to the helm of the show, will remaining judge Randy Jackson be in the exec’s crosshairs? Lythgoe previously suggested he’d like to go with a whole new slate of judges for next year’s show. (7/30p)
