Stones on Vinyl

VINYL SOLUTION: The Rolling Stones will release two vinyl box set collections spanning over 40 years of their career through ABKCO Records and Universal Music Group. The sets, the Rolling Stones 1964-1969 and 1971-2005, will come out Nov. 22 in the U.K. and the following day in the U.S. and Canada. The ’64-’69 ABKCO set includes nine re-mastered studio albums, two re-mastered EPs, plus two “Big Hits” collections, with the first five titles in their original mono format. The ’71-2005 collection, through UMe, includes Sticky Fingers, Exile, Goats Head Soup, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll, Black and Blue, Some Girls, Emotional Rescue, Tattoo You, Undercover, Dirty Work, Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon and the band’s most recent, 2005’s A Bigger Bang.
