Jerry Moss has Horse

NO GATHERING MOSS: Great N.Y. Times profile the other day on former A&M Records boss Jerry Moss and wife Ann, whose championship thoroughbred mare Zenyatta, undefeated in 19 starts, races in the $5 million Breeder’s Cup Classic tomorrow at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. The Mosses won the Kentucky Derby in 2005 with Giacomo, named after Sting’s son. Zenyatta, of course, takes her name from Zenyatta Mondatta, the title of The Police’s third album, which was on A&M. Check out the full piece here. The heralded race horse will be retired, win or lose, after the race. (11/5p)
