EXPECTING TO FLY: The three musicians who co-fronted the Buffalo Springfield had so much fun playing together at last month’s Bridge School benefit, their first performance in 42 years, that rumors are now flying about additional shows next year, and possibly even a summer tour. For the reunion perf, Neil Young, Stephen Stills and the Rev. Richie Furay replaced the late bassist Bruce Palmer and drummer Dewey Martin with Rick Rosas (Young’s bass player of choice in recent forays) and Joe Vitale (CSN). Some have whimsically dubbed the reconstituted group “the new Eagles,” noted the L.A. Times’ Randy Lewis, who reported this intriguing speculation. Eleanor Stills took this backstage photo, which reveals the principals’ feelings about the performance they’d just completed. (11/9a)
